Thesis title: Protective role of neurosteroids on development of L-DOPA-induced dyskinesia in a rodent model of Parkinson's disease. The work focused on the quantitative analysis of different protein targets through the use of immunoprecipitation with Dynabeads and Western Blotting assay in a mouse model of Parkinson's. The main techniques used were: -Immunoprecipitation with Dynabeads; -Western Blotting assay; The gels and membranes were analyzed at Chemidoc. Thesis title: Modulation of PPAR- receptor activity and expression of Cnx43 and KCNQ1 channel in hypoxic H9c2 cardiomyocytes. The work focused on the protein and genetic quantification of anti-inflammatory targets in the in vitro model of hypoxia on H9c2 cardiomyocytes, but in addition to working with cell cultures, I also had the opportunity to work with in vivo animal models. The main techniques used were: -Protein/Nucleic acid extraction and quantification; -qRT-PCR; -Western Blotting assay; -ELISA tests. Show less
