  So what does a Chief Motorsport & Technical officer do exactly? Well in Caterham terms, it means so much more than it suggests. Product Director & Trouble-shooter might be a better description. As the conduit between the commercial team that would like the moon-on-a-stick and the engineering team who would gladly make it for them from unobtainium; I ensure that the iconic Caterham Seven retains its product integrity and commercially viability; creating new models to suit (such as the recent retro-inspired and phenomenally successful Sprint and Super Sprint).Meanwhile, we also have one of the most successful factory-backed family of race championships in Europe to look after, making Caterham Motorsport the benchmark for club racing in the UK.From revitalising the production process to bringing the LEGO Caterham to fruition, CMTO doesn’t really cover it. Oh, and I get to do things like this:
