In 2005 Cate was FLO or Contact Officer for the family of Hasib Hussain, the terrorist who blew up the bus in Tavistock Square in Lonndon..In November, 2005 Cate was the FLO to the family of WPC Sharon Beshinevsky who was shot by armed robbers at a travel agency in Bradford.In 1986 after the Yorkshire Ripper days Cate was seconded to the first Policewoman's department for the investigation of Rape and sexual/domestic violence. Improving the service to females andchildren and providing a sensative and secure environment for victims.Overall she has been deployed as an FLO in well over 300 cases in her Police service.
