There are multiple different service streams that I work across. These includeClient Services - To provide support to individuals accessing Barkuma’s Employment Services who may be experiencing significant problems in their lives which are impacting their ability to gain or maintain their employment. This role involves working with individuals to access services in their local community. Support and Family Education (SAFE) - The SAFE program provides parenting support to parents who have an intellectual disability, to develop parenting skills, with the aim of keeping families together. It offers practical one on one support and monitoring while linking parents to supports in their community. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - Provide Support Coordination to individuals Flexible Learning Options Program (FLO) - FLO is a DECD enrolment option in ICAN Schools that promotes a more flexible approach for supporting successful engagement of young people most at risk from disengaging from their education.Team Leader - Provide direct support to the Manager of the Lifestyle Intervention Team. Support/supervise team members in the Lifestyle Intervention Team.
