  As a Community Habilitation Instructor I primarily work one on one with a pre-teen who is Autistic. My main goal and task at hand is to effectively integrate him in to his local community. My method of teaching is called Assisted Daily Living tasks. I use these ADL's to help make it an easier process for him to remember what he is supposed to do while say shopping at the local supermarket or interacting with the server at McDonalds.
