I was a direct report of Cassandra while she was the Lead Manufacturing Engineer at f'real Foods. As a leader, Cassandra is driven to deliver both a quality product as well as a constructive work environment. She has a passion for doing things right, and an attitude that motivates others to do the same. I really enjoyed working for her, and I hope she continues to find success as a leader wherever she goes.

Zyomyx, Inc. worked towards a novel point-of-care CD4 T-cell diagnostic test for HIV/AIDS in the developing world. As a process engineer, I was involved in the support of manufacturing for the scale up of the device, equipment development work and validation, documentation, process optimization, statistical data analysis, and assay development and execution. Much of my position involved the implementation of automated equipment to meet production demands. I worked with multiple departments within the company and multiple suppliers external to the company in order to obtain necessary equipment, validation work, and process optimization. Unfortunately, Zyomyx closed its doors in July of 2014. Show less
