  Work in Dr. Tally Largent-Milnes’ research lab in the pharmacology department of the college of medicine. The research in this lab is focused on neuropharmacology. Involved in a project investigating how the endocannabinoid system affects respiratory depression caused by opioid use.• Use western blots and qPCR to determine the expression of cannabinoid receptors in mice pre-Bötzinger complex on the mRNA and protein level between genotypes and sexes.

  Working in Dr. Nathan Cherrington’s research lab in the pharmacology/toxicology department of the college of pharmacy. The research in this lab is focused on drug disposition. Involved in a project examining how patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis eliminate drugs.• Use Sanger sequencing to identify polymorphisms in our clinical study to differentiate those who have affected drug disposition due to genetics.
