May 2006 - Dec 2012
I have worked with the Aldo group on two occasions. Both times I was a sales associate, and helped both open and close the store. Wrote down the end of day reports from the tills. Filled necessary paper work to complete shipping and receiving. Stocked the back room and re-ordered the shoes weekly to maintain a clean work space. Reached goals set by my superiors in order to achieve weekly budgets and quarter expectations. Did a "flip" once a quarter, which is when everything in the store gets repositioned to match trends, seasons, and sales. Also did front window displays when needed. Show less

Aug 2008 - Jan 2011
Started off by being a part time sales person. Got a raise in the first month for achieving and exceeding my daily goals. Became assistant manager before my first year of work and eventually became manager. Writing the schedule weekly, and getting confirmation from the employees for their shifts before the week began. All cash handling, paper work and deposits. All the paper work involved with shipping and receiving. Daily phone calls with the owner of the company and the district manager to discuss sales, budget, staff, and upcoming trends. Opening and closing of the store 6 days of the week. Help with the store "flips" which is when the interior products are moved around to accent upcoming trends, seasons, and sales. Training new staff and dealing with all customers problems and/or questions. Show less
