At Triton, my individual responsibilities consisted of meeting a number of clients each day and introducing them to the process of undergoing a remodel/new construction. I’d asses their style, general budget, overall goals, and help them select the best route for their project. It is very important to get to know your client to ensure they stay with you throughout the entire process. From there, I’d help select all tile, sinks, faucets, plumbing, cabinet fixtures, ect. I’d asses their style, general budget, overall goals, and help them select the best route for their project. It is very important to get to know your client to ensure they stay with you throughout the entire process. From there, I’d help select all tile, sinks, faucets, plumbing, cabinet fixtures, ect. Once full house selections have been made, I then create the relationship with the builder on the job and keep them updated with quotes/sale orders. When a relationship is created with a builder, it is my main goal to achieve all of their business. I do my best to incorporate whatever tools I have to sell the most product possible. If I do not know about a product, I research and practice it on my on until I have mastered it in order to use in future sales. I set very high expectations for sales and continue to meet and exceed them. Being a Tile Specialist at Triton also came with teaching my team about the best installation methods per NTCA/ANSI guidelines. The more my team knows, the more they sell. The Tile Shop was a rigorous academy that taught me all modern installation methods of tile. There, I learned about all types of underlayments and design principles. I dealt with “take-offs” and helped customers calculate how many square feet of material they needed for their job. I also prepared hand sketched designs for installers and helped organize overall layout for projects. This job helped me gain familiarity with all types of projects; from decorating a plate, to tiling… Show more The Tile Shop was a rigorous academy that taught me all modern installation methods of tile.
