I believe Casper is one to watch. His collection is modern and fashion forward but has strong elements of classic tones to suit the modern man and woman. He is not just a designer with a new collection; but a new trend for the future!

Production Assistant

Jan 2022 - Present
My role at Favourbrook involves working across all categories - Menswear, womenswear tailoring and accessories, assisting with the managing of both production and Made To Order elements of the business. The MTO side of the role is hands on and involves the checking processing of orders, compiling fabrics and trims to be sent to the factories as well as cutting bespoke Waistcoats. These I monitor through production conducting weekly QC trips before arranging delivery to stores. Managing production at Uk factories, bulk waistcoat production and smaller “fill in” orders of menswear tailoring. Working closely with the stores to ensure constant stock of core products and timely delivery of seasonal production. The many elements of the role have distinct challenges but also require a similar skill set and attitude, acting as the main contact between the many elements of the business its important to communicate effectively co ordinating with designers, suppliers, and other team members to ensure everyone is informed. A good technical understanding of garment construction means I’m able to identify and resolve problems effectively and when they do arise I am able to be adaptable Through improved organisation I created efficiencies both in the running of the workspace and production process, I put into place systems that ensured a smoother running of the business as a whole. May 2019 - Present
As a Fabric and Warehouse Coordinator at Oliver Spencer & Favourbrook, I managed the day-to-day operations of the fabric warehouse, ensuring that orders were fulfilled accurately and on time, and tracking inventory levels to meet customer demand. Additionally, I supported the Fabric Manager in selecting, sourcing, and coordinating the production of fabrics, ensuring they met quality, cost, and production requirements. I was responsible for coordinating the shipment and delivery of fabrics to manufacturers, managing inventory levels, and liaising with logistics providers to ensure that all fabrics arrived in good condition and on time. Furthermore, I managed the made-to-order production process, serving as the main contact between the stores and producers, processing orders, compiling fabrics and trims, and cutting bespoke Waistcoats. I monitored the production process through weekly quality control checks before arranging delivery to stores. In addition to my core responsibilities, I took the initiative to reorganize the office space, improving the work environment, reducing waste, and creating efficiencies that contributed to the overall success of the business. COe2 as a product was designed to be flat pack and require no stitching, developed to be produced by me as and when products were ordered. Cut by CNC router from PVC, the range demonstrates both my design aesthetic and practical problem solving approach to product development. The considering of new and innovative pattern, construction and manufacture methods informs my design process while always also considering the feasibility of delivering the product to market. Support from The Princes Trust and their focus on business practicalities broadened my skills, Taking advantage of the various resources, workshops, seminars and mentoring I developed an understanding of social media marketing, SEO and website design. As part of a small team, employed to support the running of all areas of the business my duties varied. My key responsibility was the running of the shop, measuring clients for made to order garments and maintaining standards of the retail space, monthly accounting, and maintaining the website with current stock, promotions and new products. As primarily a fabric design company I also maintained the tailors database, migrating it from excel to a CRM system improved engagement and made the process of updating customers with new collections more streamlined. Jan 2012 - Feb 2013
Initially as studio assistant for the small design team with stockists such as ASOS and Zalandon my role meant involvement in all areas of the business. Managing the day-to-day running of the studio; admin, invoicing, shipping, assisting in design meetings, buying appointments, fittings and photo shoots. Managing production raised a number of challenges, as a small company finances were an on going issue meaning samples were produced but fabrics and manufacturers often had to be sourced or changed at short notice once orders had been placed.
