Responsible for an annual budget of £ 263,000 Designed and delivered a flexible mental health service for African & Caribbean people with severe and enduring mental health problems that is highly valued by users and rated by the Kings Fund Evaluation of the service in 2000 Devised and delivered an innovative mental health awareness training programme for the local African and Caribbean community. Managed the delivery of the Day Centre element of the service from design to opening. Negotiated additional funding of £66K to deliver a building that is culturally welcoming. Negotiated the Oremi Service Level Agreement contract and targets with Local Authority service commissioners.
