I would read the bills and find a way to describe not only their content, but the effects they will have on the average Oregonian. My job was to translate the legal language of the bill into something succinct and interesting. Deepwood is one of Salem's most historic buildings, and is the location of weddings, proms, and many other events, as well as daily tours. While I worked here I gave and assisted with tours, as well as providing general help wherever was necessary. Because of the small staff and expansive duties, my responsibilities changed daily, from making decorations for an event, to cleaning and polishing the house's collection of silver cutlery.
