I am currently working full time as a sports and activities leader for PBED. During term time this involves running level 1 & 2 bikeability sessions as well as teaching a variety of PE lessons in primary schools across Hampshire. In the school holidays, I also become a leader for holiday camps for children and young people.

I worked part-time as a recreational gymnastics coach alongside my university studies. My role involved leading large groups of 4 to 16-year-olds through a variety of physically and mentally challenging sport-related activities. I prioritised motivating young people to have fun but also helped them develop ambitious goals, and I adapted my sessions based on group/ individual needs and abilities. As a team leader for NCS I guided groups of up to sixteen, 16-17-year-olds, through a 2 week pre-designed programme. I organised large groups of young people in a variety of situations and settings, actively encouraged young people through new and existing physical and mental challenges, which ranged from water-based team-building activities to building confidence in leadership and communicative skills. I began coaching at Dynamo at the age of 14 whilst I was training 21 hours a week as an elite gymnast and preparing for my GCSEs. I coached a variety of levels, from recreational gymnastics to national grades, and this often involved leading up to 30 young people at a time at certain points during the session.
