Caryn was a detailed, organized and valuable asset to our organization. Her grasp of the graphic production cycle was a valuable asset. Her dedication to her position and the people within the organization was exemplary. Whenever a project required attention, Caryn was keen to learn and ask great questions and would never shy away from taking leadership. There was rarely a stone unturned in how she'd manage any project. I wish Caryn well and no doubt, she will be an asset to any organization.

As a Creative Cordinator, I coordinated all in-house and out-sourced printing production for the client. Scheduled jobs, ensures deadlines were met and established based upon company guidelines. Explored new innovative production processes and recommended same to management. In addition, I worked in conjunction with Creative Services Supervisor to ensure a complete printed flyer. Responsibilities as a Photography Producer included ensuring all images met the creative standard on time by troubleshooting and solving issues as they arose, serving as a primary contact between the studio and internal client, facilitated clear, constructive, and on-going communication with business managers regarding issues relating to photography, worked with other studio departments to insure timely completion of projects, and made sure images were secure and ready for creative production processes. Being a Print Production Coordinator, I gained valuable knowledge in all of the various tasks involved in completion of a retail flyer going to press. These various tasks included, staying abreast of all deadlines for my supervisor, account manager, graphic designer, photography producer, and the client's marketing coordinator and marketing manager. As well, I also opened job dockets, and billed the job once complete. Show less

At York Region Printing, I saw jobs cycle through the company by estimating the cost of the job, creating the job dockets, preflighting the files, correcting the files (if needed), preparing the files for plates using Kodak Preps, then outputting plates via CTP.
