- Member of the Data Processing Team of a 2-year DOST PCIEERD-funded research program under the MSU-IIT Team spearheaded by CSU. The program aimed to produce highly detailed flood hazard maps for different river basins in Mindanao.- Utilized LiDAR and IfSAR technologies, with the use of GIS to process and edit raw data and generate accurate and reliable flood hazard maps.- Develop a pre-processing tool for Interpolation, Calibration, and Bathymetry using Python.- Performed quality checks on processed and edited LiDAR and IfSAR data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the maps.- Consolidated data features with field data to enhance the quality of the flood hazard maps.- Conducted training and mentoring of Local Government Units (LGUs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) on creating, interpreting, and utilizing the flood hazard maps effectively using QGIS, resulting in enhanced preparedness and effective decision-making.- Provided technical assistance to state university students conducting a thesis on Sedimentation and Water Quality by utilizing the HORIBA Multiparameter Water Quality Meter to accurately collect and monitor data.
