I was Inven Global's main analyst for Chinese League of Legends (LPL), and I both pitched original content and helped other writers develop articles featuring Chinese players. I also enjoy helping other people develop their pitches in writers' rooms, or even 1 on 1. Coming up with new ideas and/or bringing an abstract concept to fruition was my favorite part of working here. I worked with ELO Entertainment as a writer for both Valorant and League of Legends. While I did my fair share of patch notes and other "easy" content, a lot of the work I did was original and based around finding trends as they developed. I'd try to predict where the pro meta was going based on data from every region, and I was (most of the time) pretty spot-on. This is where I took my skills as a writer and applied them to telling stories within esports. I worked with ELO Entertainment as a writer for both Valorant and League of Legends.
