Under my leadership in the last year, we've:-Been recognized in 2023 by the Georgia House of Representatives through a resolution (HR-666) as "one of the most dynamic and committed civic organizations" in the state of Georgia.- Had the largest increase in membership known to the organization, adding nearly double the amount of chapters we began with- Had the largest social media engagement increase known to the organization - Collaborated with Democratic Nominees running for U.S. House seats in a series of virtual town halls to allow for high school students to have a direct voice into their candidates - Partnered and strategized with campaigns from the bottom to the top of the ticket giving high schoolers opportunities to get involved with - Launched local-based canvasses with candidates, advocates, and elected officials reaching thousands of voters though door knocking and phonebanking - Led the historic GASHD “Midterm Initiative” which committed an action plan to getting Democrats elected across the state, collaborating with campaigns such as Stacey Abrams for Governor- Led the historic GAHSD "Runoff Initiative" with the “30 Days of Action” plan, giving high schoolers from across the state an opportunity to get involved in the runoffs each and every day both in-person and virtually - Led students to re-elect Rev.
