    • Executive Secretary
      • Jun 2023 - Present

As the Secretary for the Kern County Young Democrat Leaders, I am responsible for taking the minutes and distributing them at our meetings. More than this, my role as secretary sits me on the executive board. Through this I’ve been heavily involved with local politics and have been blessed with networking with local elected officials. • Class President

One way that I utilize my education is to further my skills in leadership. I’ve done so by serving, gratefully, as the 2025 Class President of my school. In this role I’ve learned about several skills that I believe will be useful to me. These include event planning, working with a team, and how to take charge of situations. • Sep 2022 - Present

In the organization of a community event that I and 12 other students put onto spread the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation, we designated roles for each ambassador to remain organized. I was selected as the Director of Dignitary outreach, as it aligned most with my passion in leadership. I was responsible for reaching out to and inviting local leaders, from city council to senators, to our walkathon, in hopes that their attendance would show their constituents the importance of the cause that we support. • Got the Dot Student Leadership Executive Board Member
      • Sep 2022 - Present

One of the most incredible opportunities that I have had the blessing to serve in, is that of a Got the Dot Leadership Club Ambassador. A local charity, JJ’s Legacy, works tirelessly to educate the community about the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation. After volunteering at a gala, I was invited to speak with the founder, Lori Malkin, and she asked me to join her non-profit’s leadership club. Within the position as an ambassador, the 12 other student’s on the team, as well as myself, had the job of planning and helping out with several events, including our main project, the Got the Dot Walkathon. These events served our community by spreading the message of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Show less

In serving on the Bakersfield City Youth Commission, I join representatives in 8 other wards, including the Mayor’s position, in engaging the youth of our city through different annual projects. I’ve served as a commissioner, as of now, for two years, and we have worked in collaboration with a couple of different local non-profits who helped us to collect both school supplies and new school clothes for those students in our community who are underserved.
