I'm currently teaching React and React Native courses. A highlight of my responsibilities include facilitating a 4-5 hour workshop once a week to students. During this time, I interface directly with students in a collaborative coding environment where we work on a portion of a project in a hackathon style. - Teach core, intermediate and advanced React / React Native concepts to students - Grade student assignments and provide feedback- Assess students understanding of material and provide customized/modified lesson plans if necessary

Mainframe Developer Intern

I received 8 weeks of dedicated mainframe training before being integrated for 4 months on a talented team where I was taught advanced COBOL structure for high volume transaction programs. After my internship had concluded, I was offered a job as a Junior Mainframe Engineer but instead took a position elsewhere. • Partnered with mainframe developers to improve Accounts Receivable transaction processing, reviewed code and optimized specific sections—resulting in accelerated processing time.• Trained fellow intern developers in COBOL program structure and syntax.
