  I work under Dr. Brian Hoffman to assist in the LPD Lab's ongoing research within Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Currently, I am working on a Nurse Burnout study where I am responsible for coding social media posts over the topics of mental health and burnout among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have also participated in a study concerning cultural differences in cognitive testing and personnel selection where we code the Ianguage used in common management and organizational textbooks concerning selection practices. Lastly, I am engaging in the UGA's Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities Research Assistantship with Dr. Hoffman as my mentor. This is a funded study project where I, along with other graduate researchers, are studying reactions to organizational social media activism. Show less

I also assist in the planning of campus-wide events and projects utilizing a $12,000 budget.   Responsible for an international non-profit organization entirely managed by students who help facilitate a network of high-quality international exchanges and volunteer experiences. I mentor a large team that administers outgoing exchange for youth all over the Southeast while conducting international relations with over ten countries, marketing international projects to large audiences, and occasionally participating in local community service opportunities.   I worked underneath Dr. Allison Skinner assisting her in the GABBA Lab's ongoing social psychological research. In a study called 'Historical Common Ground' I was trained for running live experiments while being responsible for transcribing verbal and behavioral data. I also assisted a graduate researcher in the initial literature review for a pilot project concerning the relationship between experiencing microaggressive behavior and increased cortisol level in college-level BIPOC communities. I also participated in the UGA's Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities Research Assistantship for 2022 with Dr. Skinner as my mentor. This was a funded study for Dr. Skinner's pilot project concerning attitudes towards counter-normative couples and relationships through an intersectional analysis of racial stereotypes in America. Within this project, I assisted in conducting the initial literature review, performing pre-registration tasks, utilizing survey software, conducting a descriptive statistical analysis, and presenting a poster at the CURO Symposium of 2022.
