I worked as one of Carson's direct reports during the most tumultuous time at Ragnar Events. Through Carson's leadership we bounced back after the initial hit of COVID 19 and put on a successful race season. Our team was understaffed and over stretched, but with her leadership we rose to the challenge and put on over 20 events across the country. I personally witnessed Carson pour her entire being into supporting our team, she knocked down barriers for us, championed our team to the C-suite, and rolled up her sleeved to get things done when needed. Any organization would be lucky to have such a dedicated, mission driven leader join their team.

I’ve seen Carson go a week without sleeping to make sure customers got the experience they paid for. And she was able to do it while remaining calm and composed. There are very few people who get more calm as the pressure ramps up, but that’s Carson. And that’s an incredible asset to have on any team. I count myself incredibly fortunate for having had the opportunity to work with her and see firsthand all that her team accomplishes on a daily basis.

International Humanitarian team Leader
-
Jun 2002 - Mar 2020
Youthlinc is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to creating lifetime humanitarians by offering students and mentors local & international service experiences. As a team leader I get to help participants find their value as a local community member who can touch the lives of those around them through service, and then take that to an international scale. My goal, and that of the organization is to create future leaders and humanitarians through a challenging and rewarding service year that will help shape the rest of their lives. The planning, logistics, fundraising, leadership building and team management skills required for this job reach new levels when working with students, working with mentors, rotary clubs and international in county coordinators on multi-disciplinary projects.
