Carrie is a rare bird- she is an accomplished, career Development Director. So few stay in the field, and often if they do they don't have the solid skills to get the job done. Carrie knows her stuff! She is creative, strategic and thoughtful about her work. She is multi-talented with skills in event planning, grant writing, major gifts and more. And she is a delightful human being. I always look forward to my time with Carrie- as I am sure donors do when they meet with her. Portland is lucky to have a fundraiser like Carrie in our community!

This position allows me to use my diverse skill set across a wide variety of functional areas. I lead the logistics and planning of development campaigns including the nuts and bolts database management and gift processing. I coordinate and implement all external communications including collateral materials, website, and eCommunications. In addition, I manage the volunteer program with nearly 200 volunteers that support our work. My role includes outreach, placement, training, and scheduling of volunteers. It's a wonderful organization that does outstanding work to support the less fortunate people in our community and I'm making a real difference here.
