  Upon the full closure of the Work Center that employed adult with disabilities within our agency and the departure of the Coordinator who oversaw one of our dayhab without walls programs I assumed responsibility for the existing dayhab along with the current dayhab that I had responsibility for. To date I over see two dayhab without wall programs that overall support 60 individuals who utilize 4 different services. I oversee a total of 30 staff member at full capacity. In addition to overseeing those two progams I am a certified instructor/trainer in SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention Prevention) and CQL (Council on Quality and Leadership) for my agency. With the SCIP instructor i teach the class several times per year either alone or with a co-instructor. With CQL I am certified to instructor the 2 or 4 day class as well as I am a certified interviewer. Within the last 5 years of my employment the major tasks or events that I have accomplished have been: to close a work center completely while finding and providing alternative service for 50+ individuals; opened a new dayhab without walls initially starting at 14 individuals, growing that to the current 26 individuals; assumed an additional dayhab program without notice and have been restructuring that program; became SCIP certified as an instructor and became CQL certified as an interviewer and instructor.
