Carolyn joined The Phoenix Center located in Nutley NJ, an accredited private special needs education school serving the educational, behavioral and therapeutic needs of students ages 5-21 with autism, multiple disabilities and intellectual disabilities; offering her experience and talents to support, and grow the fundraising platform of the school. Her goal was to create the transformation from the already successful fundraising efforts, to a digital based platform expanding the reach and overall success. Focusing on what truly drives her success, listening to her instincts and applying her experience, Carolyn has established tremendous success for the Phoenix Center. While as a leader in the industry an innovator supporting others both personal and professional growth through fostering engagement and empowering the Phoenix Board of Directors to reach and achieve greater goals. With her compassionate drive for fundraising, development and marketing, she continues to cultivate long term goals and relationships with both existing key donors and new opportunities never tapped into within the corporate entities and community. Her proven track record of success in management, fundraising and community engagement, along with marketing to her target audience, has proven successful on all measures. Carolyn, you have and continue to create the most outstanding levels of fundraising efforts for The Phoenix Center in these past years. As a Board Member, I have experienced the growth and changes you have made bringing the fundraising efforts to a new level. With your talent and expertise, The Phoenix has become recognized on a broader scale and the fundraising opportunities you have created has had an outstanding impact. Just as momentum was smooth and many new opportunities were moving forward, along with the celebration of the schools 30th Anniversary of education, you are faced with the hardest of times to do so. It is exceptionally fitting that this year's theme at TPC is Resilience, which means "the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties." You have shown tremendous commitment, flexibility, strength and adaptability, while staying focused on the overall goal. I really appreciate your consideration for producing a quality product and your ability to deliver. The Program Book was very professionally done and looked beautiful. Your organizational skills drove a relatively complex project to a very successful conclusion and allowed me not to worry about projects getting done on time.
