I was moved to Yeovil from Weymouth in January 2015 and to day it was a challenge was a understatement. The team, store, trade sales, retail sales and day to day running of the store needed sorting . 2 years on and the store 10 times better and even came 5th out of 123 stores in the biggest week Topps had across the South and South West including London stores.

I was the store manager of on one the biggest Costas in the south west, we had 140 covers over 2 floors and manager a team of 22 people.with early mornings and late night closing it was activity at all times with a tight control on running each shift so the customer had the best coffee experience each time. this is what made Costa Dorchester one of the biggest and best in the south west. The store is in profit and is set to maintain this throughout the year. I was at Costa for 4 years and opened 2 stores, re-imaged 1 store and problem solved another. I have gained a lot of experience in doing this and enjoy working with Costa.

When I started with Thcibo I was away from home for 6 weeks Training in Worthing, where I learnt a lot more at Managers level on how to run a coffee bar system, along with food hygiene and safety. Thcibo is a German company and had stores all over the world. Due to the exchange from the euro to the pound dropped, unfortunately so has the UK side of the company, Germany had decided to pull out of the UK as we were not set to hit the year target as a company. The Dorchester store was making a profit and was set for the year. As a resulted of the situation from Germany all the UK stores closed, Dorchester closed on the 4th April 2009 which I was in control of till the last day and hand over back to the close down team.
