o Developed a project to celebrate the Castlemaine carer community. Prepared an event preparation timeline and budget/liaised with sponsors and guest speakers/assisted with event set up. As a direct result of this project, Castlemaine Community House now hosts monthly carer morning teas. Facilitating the ongoing monthly morning tea chat sessions that are open to all carers in the Mount Alexander Shire. o Undertook research projects. Identified and contacted prospective research participants/undertook qualitative interviews/thematically analysed data/produced reports and recommendations o Developed in depth understanding of programmes run by the Community House and networked with organisations under the auspice of the Community House. o Undertook the role of minute taker for Community House meetings with local human services organisations. o Researched and identified grants appropriate to the Community House and organisations under its auspice.
