I worked with Carolyn on numerous cross-functional projects and was always impressed by her ability to resolve the needs of the many stakeholders involved...while somehow managing to always keep focus and forward progression to meet a deadline. Carolyn is a very dedicated and multi-faceted technical consultant. Perhaps her most admirable quality is her ability to decipher the needs or requirements of a user / customer and turn them into working solutions. I know that I've certainly presented her with 'ramblings' for what I needed from Confluence and JIRA and she was able to somehow decipher my gibberish, turn it into actual requirements, and provide me with a solution quickly...and in a very pleasant way. Carolyn is very attentive to your situation and I never worried that she didn't receive an email or missed my call. She always got back and always spent time to make sure I understood her solution.

When I think of Carolyn, three things come to mind: focus, dedication and attention to detail. I had the pleasure to work with Carolyn for close to three years at Amber Road. She was the Manager of Knowledge Management and she almost single-handedly built a new corporate Intranet around Confluence and a new JIRA-based software development management tool. She designed, implemented and trained users on the new Intranet, carefully shepherding the entire project from inception to successful completion. At the same time, she worked on a challenging project to migrate from an outdated bug tracking system to JIRA. I was impressed by Carolyn’s ability to leverage the Agile capabilities of the new tool to satisfy the demands of Amber Road’s software development team. Not only is Carolyn a highly competent project manager, she also possesses the skills needed to work every stage of solutions life cycle, from analyzing requirements, designing a solution, deploying it and maintaining the service. She would be a true asset to any team looking to modernize their software development and collaboration platforms.
