Facilitating the provision of the literacy intervention program 'Toe by Toe', which has me working daily with around twelve students individually. Collaboration with primary teachers with implementation of programs such as spelling, writing, Maths. Working with individual students with additional learning needs and supervising small groups of students who require support with completing tasks. Providing intensive support for secondary-aged students with Autism. Creating Social Stories to reduce anxiety. Planning for and implantation of modified tasks, such as sequencing and matching activities in study of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Close supervision of students with Autism in practical activities such as Chemistry experiments, cooking and excursions. Some withdrawal support of VCE students with anxiety or medical conditions - breaking tasks down for them and assisting them to revise for exams. Mentoring of VCE students, to support them to set goals and feel empowered to change their study and life habits. Language support to Secondary student taking French as an external subject.
