As General Manager of our Engineering/Technical Search Practice, I have 30+ years of experience in the staffing industry and over 25 years of experience in recruiting and staffing for the refining and petrochemical industries nationwide. My major focus has always been in the midstream and downstream sectors of the industry. I specialize in search for refinery/petrochemical professionals nationwide from mid-level through management/executive levels, many of my searches being exclusive or on retained basis. My accomplishments include the staffing from start-up of two offices of major Fortune 100 firms, and a major midwestern refinery. I am highly qualified to respond to the demands of today's marketplace with over 30 years in engineering/technical recruiting I am also VP of Training and Organizational Development for Whitaker, responsible for new hire and ongoing employee training across three divisions of The Whitaker Companies. As an active member of the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) as well as the local Houston Chapter, I recently contributed to the association by speaking at their national conference and local Houston conference on “Attracting and Retaining Top Maintenance and Reliability Professionals”. Whitaker has a monthly newsletter that is distributed to over 10,000 engineering and technical professionals/managers with topics such as interviewing techniques, marketplace analysis and how to be an outstanding team performer.
