  Metis Women was set up in 2013 by four friends and regular networkers who found that there was something missing – a development and collaboration element. They looked for something to fit the bill in the local area, and having not found just what they wanted, decided to set up their own. Metis Women was launched in Faversham, Kent in November 2013 and has already got a strong membership of women who are developing themselves and others through support and collaboration – both in their business and personal lives. Metis Women puts the support into personal and professional development. Through monthly meetings and online support we look to provide an objective sounding board for new ideas or problems you need to resolve, as well as friendship, collaboration and a network of go to people you can trust. Metis Women is set to expand further this year through other meeting locations in Kent and further afield, via its website and Facebook presence, and through virtual meetings.
