Any team would benefit from having Caroline on board. The role of project manager at Linney was incredibly wide ranging. As such, Caroline was expected to be an expert in all areas of marketing, the creative process, digital marketing, print, event management and media. Few people in that role succeeded with such expectation but Caroline excelled. Specifically...budget management, stakeholder engagement and management, internal process management and improvement, analysis of results and leadership within her peer group. The functional performance was always effective, but the ability to perform under pressure whilst maintaining a personal style that is friendly, approachable, non judgmental and genuinely open is what sets Caroline aside from nearly all the project managers I have worked with.

Caroline is an exceptional Account and Project Manager. Always putting customer needs at the heart of her delivery, Caroline is always well prepared and equipped to deliver from both customer and commercial perspectives. Importantly Caroline is also a pleasure to work with and is a key asset to any team who is lucky enough to have her.

Checkland Kindleysides is an independent design agency specialising in the art of brand storytelling. Over the 8 years that I was at CK I enjoyed working with some very talented individuals who are creatively gifted. I have worked with some of the most recognised and respected brands, including Howdens Joniery, Adidas, Interface, Bentley and HSBC.I have gained a strong commercial understanding and appreciation to help my clients bring their brands to market, in the most appropriate and cost-efficient through-the-line marketing channels.

Linney Design is a privately-owned full-service design agency, offering a one stop shop for: design, print and fulfilment. It was here that I had my first taste of how a fast-paced agency environment operated. The Project Manager role involved coordinating and managing many different accounts. It was an integral position within the business and required excellent service levels. I worked with a number of high profile blue chip accounts varying from Chiquito, Monster Energy Drink, Molsen Coors, Thorntons, BUPA and Slimming World.

Before studying at De Montfort University, I worked full-time for two years as a Flight Attendant flying long haul routes. The key requirements for the role were to provide a World Class Customer service and to ensure the safety of the passengers. The lifestyle maybe perceived as glamorous staying in five star hotels but it was a demanding job that required working long and unsociable hours. What a lot of people don't realise is when they board the plane, a majority of the time the crew have not worked with each other before, so building relationships on a first time encounter was expected. Everyone was like minded and team players so we made it fun. Working for such a creative and vibrant company where the brand had so much personality, it really made me stop and admire the innovative approach that Sir Richard Branson was creating for Virgin Atlantic. This fascination ultimately inspired me to want to study Advertising and Marketing Communications.
