I worked in accordance with Lisa (the photographer) to ensure that her schedule was up to date and that all clients knew when and where to arrive prior to their appointments. I also did the hair and makeup for the clients and assisted in outfit styling. In addition, I helped Lisa transport her equipment and assisted in the practical execution of the photo shoot. Furthermore, I spent a lot of time on Lisa’s instagram reaching out to new followers and maintaining her social media presence. This job taught me to be aware of my client and their comfort level. It helped me learn how to build a friendly relationship with the clients and taught me to recognize the signals of someone wanting or needing something prior to voicing their wants. Furthermore it fed into my personal love of photography and helped me learn how to use social media as a business tool.
