  The Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative (BERC) is a multidisciplinary network of UC Berkeley students, alumni, faculty and industry professionals who tackle energy and environmental challenges. BERC’s mission is to connect, educate, and engage its members in order to foster innovation and action. As Co-President, I co-managed a 28-person leadership team and oversaw annual $80,000 fundraising efforts.   Performed research and writing for renewable energy policy design, analysis, and implementation: • Worked with rural electric cooperatives to develop a tax equity model that would allow them to take advantage of US renewable energy tax credits despite small tax appetite. • Identified and interviewed over 15 solar PV installers in Caribbean islands to establish the range of PV installation costs.
