      I managed a team of 10 staff selling hair and beauty products directly to salons through the wholesaler. I adapted quickly to the role and put systems in place to make the shopping experience for the customer more efficient and friendly and also made sure staff always knew exactly what they were meant to be doing. By motivating and encouraging staff this helped us to achieve targets and also have us the drive to achieve fantastic results. Whilst I was there we won store of the year which hadnt been won by the store I worked in ever before.       My role as Account manager was to manage the account, manage my part time staff member and to ensure all sales targets were hit. The account I took over was a new account in an existing store. I had to build the business up from scratch, this meant stopping customers at the door, organising events and proving to the customers why they should buy from me rather than my competitors. I achieved all of my sales targets whilst working for the brand in this role and also built up a regular loyal customer base. Show less
