Recruited to work directly for the CEO to ensure deals were successfully executed, analyze new investment opportunities, develop and manage multiple businesses and provide strategic vision. Constructed all financial models, budgets, forecasting and return analysis for hospital operations, real estate and other ancillary businesses. Modeling assumptions were informed by extensive research, including analyzing key financial metrics like revenue growth, expense and profit margins of comparable businesses, evaluating historical volumes, case types and patient mix for physicians expected to operate at the hospital, and assessing potential reimbursements rates based on conservative estimates for expected mix of government and commercial payors. Crafted all bank loan and investor presentations, successfully facilitated discussions with funding partners to explain and clarify project scope and needs which led to securing over $70MM in capital for healthcare projects in Tulsa, OK (CORE Hospital) and Cleveland, OH. Oversaw the finances for the real estate development of CORE Hospital, the company’s first major project, from construction to operation. Achieved 16% reduction in budgeted equipment costs by coordinating with physician partners and equipment planners to extract better pricing from suppliers. Collaborated closely with the developer, bankers, physicians and hospital management team to ensure project was successfully delivered on budget and on time. Founded and developed business plans for real estate, hospital operations, equipment leasing, billing and management companies. Actively managed firm’s operational entities and investments, providing timely and meaningful financial analysis both verbally and in writing for making crucial business decisions. Maintained investor and banking relationships to keep all stakeholders informed on project developments. Over my tenure, the company grew from one to over a dozen entities. Show less
