What a pleasure it was to have Caroline on the Strategy team at Abbott. She set an incredibly high bar for the value and contribution an intern can bring to an organization. The initiative, work ethic, and pure intelligence that she demonstrated day in and day out was exceptional. She is naturally curious and is always searching for way to expand her knowledge and understanding across a variety of topics - be it digital analytics, social marketing, or even robotics. She graciously accepts feedback and direction from others, but also takes the initiative to solve problems through her own due diligence. When I came to Ohio State, she took me under her wing and placed me, a 3rd week first-year, in the position of Professional Development Chair on The Underwater Robotics Team. Little did I know, she was intentionally pushing me into an unfamiliar, uncomfortable role to tap into the potential she saw in me. Many of the incredible women the Underwater Robotics Team have told me that they look up to Caroline and see her as a role model.
