  I am currently working on a project to catalog and reorganize our photographic collections. Some major projects I have completed include: cataloging and reorganizing our collection of newspapers, cataloging our backlog of objects and writing a script for a historical interpreter to portray former Churchill Downs president Matt Winn. I also respond to research requests, am part of a committee that evaluates possible acquisitions and use PastPerfect to catalog objects in our collection.

  Sold museum admission and tours of Churchill Downs, helped manage the phones, booked advanced tour reservations and led three tours: a 30 minute historic walking tour, an hour van ride through the stables and an hour and a half walking tour of exclusive areas at Churchill Downs. I did these tours in Spanish when needed.

  Did research for the ‘Fillies in the Derby’ permanent exhibit, assisted the curator in taking inventory of the museum library in hopes of turning it into a research facility and cataloged nearly 500 items donated from the jockey Bill Shoemaker’s personal collection into the database PastPerfect.
