I was promoted to assistant manager after 7 months, which included new responsibilities such as training staff and mediating conflict. I also met often with our coffee provider to educate both myself and staff on the taste, source, and process that made our espresso unique.

Volunteer Coordinator

As volunteer coordinator, I served as a nexus between campus, the Boulder community, and Environmental Center programs. My duties were to ensure adequate volunteer staffing, promote Environmental Center activities, and actively engage the public in Environmental Center efforts to improve campus sustainability. I was also tasked with educating the community on issues of environmental sustainability and justice. This required event coordinating, organizational skills, recruitment, promotions, supporting weekly newsletter output, maintaining a small educational program for students, working in teams, and networking.
