• Research community organizations, university groups, religious organizations, etc who may be interested in volunteering in The Market. • Raise awareness and develop volunteer pool through the use of various marketing tools including a volunteer database, email blasts and other communications. • Coordinate and schedule volunteers on an on-going basis, or a single event, to provide necessary support for the Food Bank. • Assist with virtual administrative tasks i.e. updating volunteer signup links for the website through our CRM, and monitoring online scheduling numbers in Salesforce • When available, assist with daily tasks such as greeting volunteers, providing a safety speech, restocking supplies, etc. • Responsible for supporting the Development Department with planning Empty Bowls, the Food Bank and Just Harvest's annual fundraising event. • Assist Community Fundraising Coordinator in the solicitation of restaurant soup donations. • Assist Community Fundraising Coordinator with soup donation logistics, including scheduling deliveries, ensuring a variety of soup options, and communicating with donors to ensure timely donations. • Collaborate internally with supervisor and coordinators to facilitate successful event logistics.
