I work in a small team to use ReactJS and the AirTable RESTful API to add further functionality to the Stanford Vietnamese Student Association website. I'm working on the events archive which showcases the organization's rich, 30+ year history and I lead team meetings to check on progress and strategize the best next steps to maximize our productivity.

My work ranged from computational biology and bioinformatics to full stack web development and graphics design. Some of the work I completed includes implementing a Python web-scraper to mass-download proteins from the UniProt database, building a proteome-mining tool in Python, designing the team's logo and creating representative artwork, and editing our project promotion video. I also built the team's website with React.js and Sass and deployed it using GitLab's CI/CD pipeline. Undergraduate Computational Research Assistant, Good Lab

I studied strain-level dynamics of human gut microbiota strains during fecal microbiota transplantation as a Bio-X Fellow. I also attended lab meetings, journal clubs, and wet lab workshops as part of the Stanford Bio-X Undergraduate Research Program. The experience culminated in a presentation to the broader Bio-X community at the end of the summer; however, I continued my research through Fall 2021.
