Work at a strategic partner level for a client group to translate strategies into specific organizational capabilities and to achieve business goals. Works in concert with HR leaders and specialists to develop and implement human resource programs and initiatives that address unique client group needs and partners with peers across Human Resources to develop Alberta Health Services-wide human resource policies and programs. Provide ongoing expert consultative and advisory support to managers, supervisors and staff on all aspects of human resources management including but not limited to: human resource and strategic planning; organizational design and development; performance management; collective agreement and employment policy interpretation; grievance management; recruitment and selection; workforce planning; job classification and review; disability management; and employee health and wellness. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to build the human resources services, programs and skills required by Alberta Health Services leaders to achieve the organization’s vision, mission and strategic goals.
