Alongside two professors from UIC's Jane Addams College of Social Work, I am working on a qualitative study about the college experiences of Latinx young adults who have been involved in the foster care system. In fall and spring of 2020-2021, I conducted semi-structured narrative interviews with study participants. I was also part of coding and data analysis, and have contributed to the manuscript which is now in its publication stages. The study was grant-funded by UIC's Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy. Show less
