      During the summer of 2022 I had the pleasure of working at the beautiful beach of Hilton Head Island with people from all over the U.S and the world. I worked both as a traditional lifeguard and a beach attendant. As a lifeguard, I was responsible for the safety of hundreds of people, I responded to water and land emergencies, and I educated guests about water safety and the marine wildlife of the island. As a beach attendant, I was responsible for the beach rentals, I provided excellent customer service, and accurately kept track of revenue and balanced paperwork. I was also the overall winner of the local lifeguard competition which is a three-day event where all the employees compete against each other. Show less
