To say Carolin brought User Research on the map for sofatutor would still be an understatement: as the first dedicated specialist in that position, she created the roadmap of and conducted all qualitative and quantitative research about our current and future user groups herself. She managed to present her findings to C-level management with the same ease and effectiveness as to the cross-functional product teams. Her findings triggered internal structural changes in order to allow the product teams to listen to and learn from their users on a continuous basis. In user interviews, she creates a wonderful room thanks to her warm and empathetic side which even made interviews with 1-st grade children seem effortless. As a colleague I have always perceived her as a curious, calm, sincere and clever person. I would be happy to work with Carolin in the future again and cannot recommend her enough.
