NPI Product Engineering Manager for the inkjet supplies and print engine product lines. Delivered multiple generations of inkjet print cartridges and modules into the market place as the product engineering manager. My team partners closely with Product Development and the high volume manufacturing sits to ensure we are able to deliver a quality product, from leading issue resolution, addressing specification management, driving robust change management processes, and ensuring knowledge is captured and managed on the design intents and test method understanding. Ensures engineering and design responsibility is transferred into manufacturing that often includes performing needed margins studies and partnering closely with the design team on robust design. In addition, we work with management on understanding trade-offs in making ship/no-ship decisions and negotiate with the printer factories and customer assurance teams on these decisions. Show less

    • Process Engineering Manager
      • Jan 2013 - Aug 2013

Process Engineering Manager for one of the two process team responsible for the inkjet module at the heart of HP's PageWide Technology. We were responsible to launch the new product that delivered a print-module with ten printheads that are fired concurrently to allow 1-pass printing. We dealt with launch issues from scaling up the operations, increasing yields and up-time, as well as introducing new processes that we needed to add to improve the end-customer experience. We performed down-time analysis to understand the cause of short-falls in productivity. In addition, we worked closely with procurement to ensure we had adequate supply and good quality incoming materials. Closely partnered with Product Engineering, we closely managed the quality of the product. Show less
