      Carole is VP of Programming for TELETOON Canada, where she oversees program schedules, acquisitions and original production for five nationwide television networks: TELETOON, TÉLÉTOON, TELETOON Retro,TÉLÉTOON Rétro and Cartoon Network in Canada. Bonneau joined TELETOON in November 1996 as Director of Programming, and became VP of Programming in december 2001. During her tenure, Bonneau has been instrumental in fostering Canadian talent. Each year, under her leadership, 47% of the TELETOON annual revenue is allocated to the acquisition or development of animated series by Canadian producers, such as 6Teen, Johnny Test and the Total Drama franchise. Bonneau has worked in the television industry since 1981. She came to TELETOON from TFO, TVOntario's French Educational TV network where, as the Director of Network and Promotion, she had already achieved significant success both at home and abroad. Prior to TFO, Bonneau was a journalist with Radio-Canada, Canada's national public broadcaster. Bonneau is a board member for the Youth Media Alliance and a member of the advisory board for the Banff World Television Festival's Kids & Animation Program.
