As CSP’s Chair, I provided leadership for a graduate faculty of fourteen full-time and fifty part-time faculty members in four graduate professional preparation programs and one undergraduate minor. The faculty was committed to issues of diversity and equity, which brought a unique flavor to our pedagogic and research endeavors. Productivity of the faculty demonstrated breadth and depth. The faculty was committed to issues of diversity and equity, which brought a unique flavor to our pedagogic and research endeavors. Productivity of the faculty demonstrated breadth and depth. Our external funding far exceeded our instruction allocation; faculty members were sought as consultants and presenters; research and publication efforts were consistent and ongoing. The department averaged some 300 graduate students enrolled our (one to four-year) graduate programs: Community Counseling, School Psychology, School and Community Counseling, and Marriage & Family Therapy, and an additional 400 enrolled in undergraduate offerings, including the Minor in Counseling and Social Change.
