Bio
David Poe, BA, BSN, MS, RN
I had the pleasure of studying with Carol at Davidson College. We reconnected at our 30th Reunion. She still had her unique positive, intellectual outlook on life and service to others. I continue to follow her career managing non-profit organizations. She was, and still is, an inspiration to me and continues to inspire those with whom she works and leads.

Although I knew Carol for a short amount of time at WEAVE, I admired her skills in bringing a sense of security in the greatest time of economic upheaval in the non-profit sector. I appreciate Carol's ability to manage differing interests, while making her employees feel like they are being heard. I also appreciate Carol's transparency with decision-making processes. It is due to these assets I recommend Carol for a non-profit executive position.
Heather Powers, LICSW
To give you a sense of Carol's capabilities, Carol arrived at WEAVE and immediately took on moving the entire office over the Christmas holiday. The task was huge and she accomplished it with very little staff support- as we were all out of town. Even more significantly, she stepped in just after our organization nearly shut down and brought us back to solvency. Carol can take on enormous tasks, in both logistics and finances, and shoulder them very well.
