Accelerated the use of technology in all district classrooms by developing an ISTE implementation plan, developing and facilitating meaningful professional development, and including all stakeholders in the implementation process. Plan innovative, purposeful, differentiated, and gamified, professional development for teachers and staff that is designed to meet district and individual goals. Model the integration of technology for teachers and support the use of technology as a tool to engage all learners. Plan annual district professional development map. Serve as the district public relations coordinator, manage district social media, and prepare all press releases. Coordinate district data reporting including: BEDS, TSRV, and the Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC). Work closely with elementary reading teacher in developing innovative ways to track student progress. Recently developed digital data wall to show student F&P growth and use it as a professional development tool. Designed K-12 ISTE aligned assessments to track student technology skills and assess progress of district ISTE implementation. Surveyed teachers regularly and used feedback to modify professional development goals and to make adjustments to the ISTE implementation process as needed. Played an integral role in developing Professional Learning Periods for teachers and developed professional development plan to implement during this time. Served as a member of the administrative unit and worked closely with all administrators towards achieving building-level and district-wide targets. Plan and prepare innovative technology-themed professional development sessions for faculty and staff. Designed evaluative tools for professional development sessions and used data gleaned to guide the planning of future offerings. Independently conducted a pre-observation, observation, and post-observation using the Danielson rubric. Supported teachers in the production of common core math tutorial videos and posted them to C-A website. Spearheaded the BEDS data collection process. Facilitated turnkey training for faculty, staff, and building principals on the new Staff Trac teacher observation scheduling system. Monitored and evaluated the efficacy and strength of the C-A distance learning program with student surveys and teacher interviews. Participated in superintendent’s hearing, facilitated disciplinary meetings with students, and contacted families to discuss disciplinary issues. Designed a distance learning webpage to highlight the C-A distance learning program. Represented Coxsackie-Athens at all regional distance learning meetings and played an integral role in scheduling courses and training teachers.
