  Wrote and Directed "The Amateur: or (Revenge of the Quadricorn) a gritty, naturalistic musical comedy/drama exploring the chaotic journey of artistic pursuit in contemporary Los Angeles. Joey takes his music very seriously. The rest of his life, not so much. "The Amateur" tells the tale of a broke -- and sometimes broken -- artist navigating the LA music scene. Riding the highs and nursing the hangovers, his journey leads him through various experiences, both personal and professional, that shed a new light on the things that really matter.

  We are a content creation outfit facilitating an ongoing array of film, television, commercial, social media, and music video endeavors as well as a (potentially unhealthy) affinity for experimental personal projects and other genre-defying whims. What's in a name? To us, TAR+FEATHER alludes to a sense of timelessness in the simple fact that it harkens back to a bygone era - though one that, even today, still drips with style and intrigue. It suggests an element of rambunctiousness, lawlessness, which we feel is quite fitting. But, more conceptually, it embodies the idea of dichotomies. The grimy and scalding tar mixed with the soft and fragile feather seemed a fitting metaphor for how we view work and art in general. www.tarandfeather.tv

  'To Sonnets' is the visual translation of a literary sonnet. The visual translation shares a similar set of rules structurally with the traditional poetic form. The fourteen line poem in iambic pentameter with a rhyme scheme of ABBA CDDC EFFE GG - becomes a fourteen scene film, with ten shots per scene, that follows a visual rhyme with the same rhyme scheme.'To Sonnets' explores the relationship between creator and audience, and the journey of artistic communication.
